Client Testimonials
While many Peter Montoya clients have owned their own businesses for years, we also meet young solopreneurs looking for secrets of growth. In 2004, financial advisor Jason Gollhofer signed up for PBU after only two years in business, and his story should inspire us all.

"My previous business development could only be characterized as haphazard," Jason says. "I had 30 clients, no specialization, and grossed only about $50,000 in revenue. That certainly wasn't enough to support my family the way I wanted to."

Jason didn't start his own business to struggle. Dissatisfied with his business development, he enrolled in PBU. "The amount of information you put into the Seminar Weekend is phenomenal. In fact, I could only absorb about 10% of it. But, you presented the information in a format such that I can and do revisit the material on a weekly or monthly basis."

He loved every minute. "The whole experience was fantastic and enjoyable. Plus, the attendees had varying levels of experience and came from different industries, so we all learned from each other. We had the opportunity to work with Peter and our Strategist one-on-one, and also participated in small group exercises.

Following the weekend, Jason's Strategist coached him to success. "I realized I had to make some major changes ... I had to specialize. While I was a little hesitant, my Strategist kept me accountable and helped me develop my brand, ‘The Financial Strategist for Northern Colorado Educators.' To my delight, almost immediately new opportunities came as a result of my new brand, including speaking opportunities that I would only have dreamed of before." By focusing his brand, Jason has transformed his career. He is on track for 140 clients and projected revenue of $160,000 to $180,000 for 2005. That's over 300% growth in a very short time, from a near-dead start.

"Now I have the opportunity to choose which clients I want to bring on and which I don't," he says. "My hope is that other individuals will hear of my success and take their own business to the next level. I am not special - I simply took the information provided, and I ran with it."
